Our training
One programme, taught by working installers and assessed on real vehicles rather than on paper. Not sure it's right for you? Ask us.

Study the theory online, or train face to face on your own or as a pair. Add the done-for-you business setup to any of them.
Seven phases, from foundation to assessment.
The usual way. Training boards, tools and vehicles are all here, and the practical stages run on vehicles we provide. Free parking on site.
For an additional fee we deliver the programme at your premises, on your vehicles: garages, dealerships and fleets who would rather not lose people to travel. The fee depends on distance and how many are training, so tell us where you are and we will quote it.
Instructor-checked at every stage. No customer vehicles until the training board is passed.
Supply and ground identification, ignition states, fuses, NO/NC relays, diode orientation, joining, loom wrapping and multimeter use.
Supervised trim removal, vehicle protection, power and ground identification, cable routing and reassembly.
A complete supervised tracker install: confirmation, inspection, wiring, concealment, activation, testing and documentation.
Main unit, siren, sensors, vehicle integration, configuration, testing, false-alarm prevention and handover.
Under direct supervision with approved data: safe circuit identification, network connection quality, configuration and override procedures.
Controlled faults introduced by the instructor. The trainee must diagnose, not guess.
Yes — the online self-study course, £995. It gives you the written material for all 62 modules, the knowledge checks, the explainer videos and the final theory examination, to study at home on a laptop. It is theory only: there is no workshop, no instructor, no practical training and no installer support, and it does not lead to the Autosecure Elite Training certificate, which needs the practical assessment. The installer course itself is taught face to face, in the workshop on real vehicles, with an instructor watching your work — nobody is signed off on anything they haven't done in front of one.
No. It is licensed to you personally and protected accordingly: sign-in needs a code from an authenticator app as well as your password, every page carries your email address, copying, printing and saving are switched off, and every module you open is recorded. New modules open at five a day on the online course. Sharing a login or passing the material on ends access without a refund.
No. Phase 1 starts with automotive electrical fundamentals, multimeter use, relays, diodes and fuses. Experienced technicians move through it faster but still complete the training-board assessments.
A final theory examination with a recommended 80% pass mark, a fault-finding examination, and a complete independent practical installation graded on safety, electrical competence, installation quality, product knowledge, diagnostics, vehicle care, security awareness, documentation and professionalism. A serious safety failure results in automatic reassessment.
Specific vehicle immobilisation points are only taught during supervised, authorised practical training using approved data, and you'll be trained to keep that information private. The syllabus teaches you to understand and verify circuits rather than copy wire colours.
Just yourself and something to take notes with. Tools, training boards and vehicles are provided. Wear clothes you don't mind working in.
Yes, for an additional fee. We travel to garages, dealerships and fleets and run the programme on your vehicles, which suits a team who would otherwise all be away from the workshop. What it adds depends on the distance and the number of people training, so tell us where you are and we will quote it with the rest.
